Is there anything better than guilt free shopping? Some might say it doesn’t exist but I wholeheartedly disagree. Every year my loved ones very kindly gift me Trafford Centre vouchers, meaning I can hit the sales guilt free. Now usually I am there at the crack of dawn on Boxing Day, this year I have been a little more reserved and waited out the crazy crowds until New Years day. Fancy a little nose at what I got?…
First up I went for some basics I needed to replace. Soap & Glory Clean On Me shower gel, OGX Coconut Water Shampoo and The Body Shop Hemp cream. All well used staples in my house, so vouchers well spent!
Now it gets to the good stuff. I stopped by LUSH and was delighted to find loads of the Christmas boxes reduced by 50%, GET IN! I picked up two, be rude not to. I snapped up the Sugar Sugar and Celebrate gift boxes. I wont go into detail about their contents here (I’ll save it for a future review), but in total I got 11 amazing products for £25!
Next up is a somewhat sensible purchase for my pro kit. With some other Christmas vouchers I have purchased an amazing make up bag that is a great dupe for the very fabulous, but very expensive Zuca Pro. I am in need of some wipeable pouches to put inside, at £8.00 for three these are a great bargain!
One of the absolute best foundations for bridal work is MAC’s Studio Face and Body. It’s a beautiful consistency, buildable and best of all waterproof, so not only does it last all day and night but it won’t leave any stains on precious bridal gowns!
Who can resist a good glitter liner? Certainly not me! In my defence though I do actually need this for my pro kit, OK and myself! This glitter is so fab, it is a kind of two-toned iridescent effect. On its own it’s beautiful but depending on which colour shadow or liner you put it over, depicts what colour it shows up. Oh and did I forget to say that’s it’s Urban Decay’s Heavy Metal liner in Distortion.
Last but not least is a little treat for moi. One of the best brushes on the market is the NARS #41 Diffusing brush. This is perfect for blowing out smokey eyes, that’s not how I use it though. I personally love this for applying my creamy concealer to my under eye area. In my opinion there’s no better brush for this job!
There we have my little(ish) haul. I love the sales so much! Usually I’m so skint after Christmas all I can do is salivate at all the marked down goodies on offer at this time of year. Now I know that some people think gift vouchers are a crappy present, I however absolutely love them! What about you guys, have you snapped any goodies up in the sales?
PEACE & LOVE
