Free lipsticks courtesy of Back to MAC!

When you treat yourself to a new MAC product I know you might be eager to rip open the packaging and dive into your new goodies. As a consequence you can definitely be forgiven for not noticing the Back 2 MAC advert inside most products. That’s why I thought I’d do a little post on this amazing campaign.

IMG_8113Kind of like the LUSH empties campaign, Back 2 MAC is trying to be environmentally conscious and encourage us all to return our empty packaging. As a big thank you from MAC they are giving away free lipsticks to anyone that does so. Here’s what they say…

Because we share your commitment to the environment, M·A·C accepts returns of its primary packaging through the Back to M·A·C Program. By returning six [6] M·A·C primary packaging containers to a M·A·C counter or M·A·C Cosmetics Online, you receive a free M·A·C Lipstick of your choice as our thanks to you. Since 100% of the retail selling price of Viva Glam Lipsticks is provided to organizations that help people living with HIV/AIDS, these colours are excluded from this program.

I have recently depotted a ridiculous amount of shadows so have a load of empty pots lying around. The amount I have equates to at least two or three new lippies so watch this space to see what I chose…

What about you guys have you ever used Back 2 MAC?
