The softest brushes I’ve ever used!

ImageImageImageImageImageImage Whilst in Abu Dhabi I had to have a little nosey at the Makeup Forever stand. I absolutely love the line and am still at a loss as to why we don’t have their counters in the UK.

Whilst perusing their amazing Aqua line (more to come on that) the counter assistant pointed out the new Artisan brush range. Initially I was impressed with the look of the line. Every brush has a gorgeous beech wood handle and two-tone synthetic bristles. They even have a beveled end which has been designed to assist with product retrieval and false lash application!

After actually picking up the brushes and feeling the bristles I was shocked at how soft they are. I don’t think I’ve ever felt softer brushes, big statement I know! Seriously though these brushes are so lovely and the range is sooooo expansive, it includes 76 bushes. Yep you heard that right, 76!! Each one has a mixture of soft and wavy bristles designed to help you achieve the perfect application.

My lovely Ché treated me to three brushes, the 126 powder brush which is very densely packed and beautiful. Next was my fave of the line, the 142 flat highlighter brush. I don’t know about you but I have struggled for a long time to find the perfect highlighter brush, this one is amazing and should be in every makeup bag. Lastly I went for the 300 lip brush. This is a gorgeous flat tipped brush which could double as an eyeliner brush.

With my three brushes I was given a free brush portfolio. Now I have received a lot of free goodies from makeup counters but this has to be the most exciting. With 15 brush spaces and a lovely central pouch for accessories this is an absolute life saver.

What about you guys, have you tried the new Artisan line or any of Makeup Forever’s line? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

  1. I haven’t tried Make Up For Ever products before but they sound so wonderful! Must get my hands on some of their stuff.

    • Their stuff is the absolute best. I have no idea why they’re not in the uk. Might send them an email and enquire. Do you live in the UK or a place where you can get it easily? xx
