Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator

Unless you’ve been living under a rock I’m sure you’ll have heard about Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. I’ll be doing a review soon, for now let me tell you it’s absolutely amazing. So amazing I decided to have a little nose at some of the other products in the range and decided to get the  Gentle Face Exfoliator about a year ago. Here’s what they say;

“Problem: congested or flaky skin.

Solution: this smoothing trouble-shooter for congested or flaky skin contains fine jojoba beads to gently buff away dead skin cells, eucalyptus oil to help purify, and cocoa butter and sweet almond oil to keep skin soft and moisturised.

Apply to clean skin and gently massage in with your fingertips using light circular movements.

Naturally active ingredients include jojoba beads to gently exfoliate, cocoa butter and eucalyptus.

Not suitable for sensitive skin”

I massage this in after using Cleanse & Polish and then remove with a muslin cloth. Now I found that Cleanse & Polish worked wonders for my skin. The natural/plant extracts are soothing and gentle and smell beautiful. The exfoliator is equally as fresh and invigorating for your skin, but it didn’t shift any of my dry patches.

In all honestly I don’t think this product lives up to the Cleanse and Polish. It is lovely and as I say does leave your skin bright and invigorated but…you can get that from the Cleanse and Polish alone. If I’m completely honest there are much better exfoliators on the market.

What about you guys, have you used the Liz Earle skin care range? If you have let me know what you think?

PEACE & LOVE

  1. i love the tea cups in the background with the drink me tags! I’m throwing my best friend a mad hatter tea party bridal shower and we are going to have similar tags on the tea cups but they are going to say take me as the cups with be the favour 🙂

  2. Liz Earle can do no wrong in my eyes, but alas it’s out of my budget for an every day item. I often get Liz Earle items at birthdays/Christmas though. Lovely post xx
