Moroccanoil Treatment…worth the hype?

…erm I’ll say! This stuff is incredible. I’ve tried loads of argan oil dupes and none come close to the original and absolute best…Moroccanoil. What they say:

“A wondrous multi-tasker, Moroccanoil Oil Treatment helps to soften thick and unmanageable hair, build flexible strength and restore shine and softness to dull, damaged hair. It even protects against environmental damage, thanks to the pure argan oil formula. If your hair’s been damaged by colouring and styling, or if you have hair extensions, this product is for you.”

Every single word is true! This is the best investment you can give your hair. I recently went back to being a full brunette, after having loads of blonde over the last few years. My hair was a frizzy, dry, unmanageable mess. Now taking it back to brunette helped, as did the Organix Argan/Macadamia shampoo and conditioner I’ve been using, but it still needed some serious TLC.

Enter Morrocanoil! You literally just smooth a small amount into damp hair and let it do the rest. I noticed that my hair dried in double the time, was pretty straight with just hair-drying alone, was super soft and manageable and all my frizz and fly aways disappeared…magic!

I literally cannot recommend this product enough, I don’t think there is any match for it out there, it gives you amazing results, instantly!. It is a little pricey but well worth every penny, plus it will last you ages. I got a 125ml bottle with one of my Amazon birthday vouchers and hopefully it’ll see me through to Christmas!

What about you guys, have you tried it? What do you think? Also have any of you found any good dupes that live up to the original?

EDIT: for those of you with lighter coloured hair or hair that’s a little fine, you may want to check out the light version here :O)

  1. I bought a teeeeny tiny bottle of this a couple years ago and it really does make my hair easier to comb through! I don’t use it hardly ever though because that bottle was like $30, I’m trying to make it last as long as possible!
