Now then you may have seen my DIY Beautician post on Monday, if not you can catch up here. Basically it was a super cheap face mask that you can make yourself in your kitchen. Massaging your skin with this natural oil mask has been shown to produce great results. I’m currently trialling it and will be reporting back in a couple of weeks as to how it works.
Now then my reason for explaining this is that I have an alternative product, one that I’ve tried and tested with great results…Caudalie’s Divine Oil. At the minute I’m leaving it on the shelf though whilst I trial my DIY mask. You may be wondering why I want another product if this one works so well…because it’s £27.00 a pop! Hmmmm that’s right, it’s a little expensive, but then it’s so beautiful…oh maaaaan!
Firstly if you’ve never heard of Caudalie then you’re missing out. Everyone of their products is made with only natural ingredients from the vineyards of the Bordeaux, Champagne and Burgundy regions. Heres what their founder says;
“I believe in a greener planet and more committed cosmetics. I formulate my products for all women who, like me, don’t want to choose between effectiveness and naturalness, between glamour and ecology.”
I can honestly say that every product I have ever tried of theirs is incredible. I used to get loads of their stuff in my Glossy Boxes last year but that seems to have stopped now…sob! It’s a shame too because the samples given were an amazing size, just enough to get you hooked and I pretty much purchased every item after my sample ran out.
So then onto Divine Oil. Well first of all as with all Caudalie products it smells frickin amazing and completely indescribable! Here’s how they describe it:
“This multi-purpose, luxurious dry oil moisturises, nourishes and enhances the skin thanks to its unique formula made with an exceptional blend of oils (grape, hibiscus, sesame and argan) combined with our patented anti-oxidant Polyphenols. It envelops the skin with a subtle, floral and sun-kissed fragrance, with woody notes. Use it on the body, hair, nails, in the bath or as a massage oil.”
Seriously guys I know I have a bit of splurge v save kinda thing going on here, but really this is worth the price. I tend to put it on my skin at night and it really hydrates it, not to mention helps me sleep with that beautiful smell all smooshed into my pillow. It also has argan oil in it so it’s incredible on the hair too, or as they say added to a relaxing bath.
Really if you want to treat yourself to a perfect all rounder then this is your guy, and if the DIY mask works out and we save loads of money then we have the perfect excuse to treat ourselves! ;O)
PEACE & LOVE
