Glossybox Review: March 2014

…just when you think this month you’ll definitely un-subscribe they pull it out of the bag. I’m in love with almost everything about this months box…even the magazine which I never usually read. If you haven’t yet, have a flick through there’s loads of brill stuff inside, including great spring hairstyles and on trend makeup ideas. Right then let’s get into it. Inside my box I got:

Mitchell & Peach Body CreamThis is a really luxurious cream that smells beautiful and left my skin super soft, however at £36 for 180ml there’s not the slightest chance that I would re-purchase.
Sleek MakeUP Pout PolishNow this I was excited to see. Being a huge Sleek fan I couldn’t wait to try this product. Going off the name I was expecting a lip scrub of some sort, but alas another lip balm. ..sigh…and you know it’s not even a good one. Yes it tastes beaut, like buttery, chocolate-y, fudge-y loveliness but that’s where the good stuff ends. Firstly it’s meant to be tinted…hmmm, Sleek my pot lost it’s tint! Yes it felt nice but it didn’t seem to penetrate my lips and disappeared after a few minutes. Sorry but I wouldn’t re-purchase.
Bellápierre Cosmetics Ltd Shimmer Powders – Oh…my…DAYS…I am in love!! This gorgeous little pot looks like any other lose powder shadow on first glance. Do not be fooled though, inside is the most beautiful mica shimmer I have ever seen. I was sent the colour Deja Vous and it’s an incredible, rosy hued, sparkle fest…ummmm. Even better is you can mix this with lip gloss, blusher, nail polish, well anything really. Would I re-purchase? Do you even need to ask? Hell I want all the colours…Glossybox send us a discount code!

041 (2)Vista Liberta pHenomenal 2-3 Week Tan Lotion – A 2-3 week tan…hmmmm… I’m not sure about this. It’s a good idea in theory but, in reality if it goes wrong, isn’t a great colour and really does last 2-3 weeks… Anyhow the two tiny sachets that Glossy have included are nowhere near enough to get a proper idea of its capabilities and at £37.50 for 150ml I’m not willing to gamble.
Dove Hair Therapy Intense Repair 60 Second Treatment Shot – Well my hair is in massive need of some TLC so I’m glad this was included. I’ll let you know if it’s any good.

Soooo do tell, what did you get in your Glossybox? Was it different from mine?

PEACE & LOVE

    • Thank you hun, I’ll have a little nose at your blog too. My friend said she got Juicy Couture samples, is that what you got? Remember the days when a GB sample was a 10ml bottle of perfume or little pot of cream? What’s with all these sachets? We could get those from Space……NK!
