Yeeeeeeeee I literally can’t contain my excitement. My absolute fave awards bash of the year is The BRIT Awards. Ever since I can remember I’ve looked forward to seeing not only who wins, but also what they wear and how
badly they behave ;O)
When I was a
little lot younger one of my fave things to do with my friends was bet on who would win the awards, I always bet on Craig Daaaaaaavid and yes I always lost! If you’re wondering who I’d be picking tonight and therefore who will probably lose here’s my faves…
- British Video – John Newman
- Best Breakthrough Act – Disclosure or London Grammar
- British Female Solo Artist – Laura Mvula
- British Male Solo Artist – John Newman
- British Group – Rudimental
- British Single – Rudimental
- Mastercard British Album of the Year – David Bowie
- International Female Solo Artist – Lorde
- International Male Solo Artist – Drake
- International Group – Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
- Critics Choice – Ella Eyre
Ooooooo I’m getting excited now! There’s so much to cover what with all the outfits and the amazing performers…oh hello Queen Bey…that I’m going to cover the girls today and the boys tomorrow. Please don’t forget to keep an eye out for that post :O) Right then let’s get into it people…
Outfits I’m not loving
Myleene Klass – there’s no denying that Mylene’s body is banging as always, but in this outfit with the hair scraped back she looks like she just got out of the swimming pool.
Sophie Ellis Bexter – Oh Sophie why would you opt for this plain oversized…in a wrong way dress and please tell me they’re not kitten heels?!
Jessie J – Oh Jessie no, no, no! The outfit is all a bit too TOWIE for me, and that lipstick.
Laura Mvula – Oh it really pains me to put this amazing lady in the worst dressed category but what can I do when she wears that dress? On a positive those shoes are beaut!
Neon on Jungle – Hair and makeup wise I love their look but outfit wise it’s a big fail for me. Probably the worst of the night…sorry ladies.
Not too sure
Laura Whitmore – This girl is so gorgeous and I love that she takes fashion risks but I don’t know if this dress and shoes combo is working?!
Fearne Cotton – A million times better than the BAFTA dress we saw earlier this week, but it’s all a bit too prom like, no?
Caroline Flack – Not a complete fail but there’s something about this outfit that isn’t working for her…I’m thinking it’s the neckline.
Danni & Kylie Minogue – I must admit I’m not a huge fan of either dress but if you put my arm up my back and made me chose I’d go for Danni’s.
Lilly Allen – loving the dress and bag, not sure about the yellow ombré though?
Emma Willis – I love Emma’s relaxed approach to fashion and there’s no doubt this outfit is gorgeous. I’d like to have seen her in something a bit more daring though…she is one of the most beautiful women on TV after all!
Nicole Scherzinger – gorgeous as always, I’m really feeling this ladies doing menswear trend. I’d lose the cape jacket though Nic.
Peaches Geldoff – Two kids later and she looks this, amaze! I’m jeal!
Ellie Goulding – I really don’t know how I feel about this dress. The top half is gorgeous but the netting skirt…hmmmm…she did have two other pretty fab looks…why not, she was the girl of the night!
Love, Love, Love
Rita Ora – Absolutely stunning as always, best hair and makeup…again!
Iggy Azalea – Iggy is definitely smashing it on every red carpet. With that figure though everything looks incredible on her.
Haim – I mean…this is how a girl band should be styled!
Zoe Hardman – head to foot perfection, one of my fave looks of the night!

That’s my roundup of the red carpet. As for the ceremony my highlight had to be both Rudimental and Ella Eyre winning best single and then their massive performance…incredible. Beyoncé brought the house down…obvs…and her sparkly blue dress was amaaaazing, and can we just take a moment to reflect on Kate Moss in David Bowie’s playsuit!! Here’s a few screen shots of my highlights!
As Always…PEACE & LOVE
