FOTD – Smoky Eye Using NAKED 3

January has been so hectic that I have only just had time to have a little play at creating some looks with my NAKED 3…I know, I can’t quite believe it either!

I am absolutely in love with the rose hues that marry all the NAKED 3 shadows together. Now if you’ve looked at this palette and thought it’s all about sweet girly rose gold looks then think again. There’s some kick ass potential for smoky gorgeousness in this palette.

Here’s what I decided on today. Maybe’s I’ll post my OOTD later so you can see what I paired with my new fave smoky eye look.

For the look I used:

EYE SHADOW – Firstly don’t forget to prime people, I used Urban Decay’s Primer Potion. I then applied Dust to the outer 2/3 of my lids. I layered on Liar, Factory, Mugshot and Blackheart…blending in between each layer. On the inner corner of my eye I used Burnout and then pressed a little of Illamasqua’s Pure Pigment in Furore over the top. I also applied some Sin from the NAKED 1 palette to my brow bone.

EYE LINER – I applied creep from the NAKED 1 pallete with an angle liner brush. You could use any black shadow for this job though, all you need is a good eye liner brush. In my water line I applied Bourjois Smoky Effect Liner in Intense Black.

MASCARA – Chanel Inimitable…obvs…

BASE – Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation in NW20

CONCEALER – Bobbi Brown Creamy Corrector in Bisque & Creamy Concealer in Sand

BROWS – HD Brow Palette in Vamp

HIGHLIGHTER – YSL Touché Eclat & Palette Pink Celebration Highlighter

LIPS – NARS Damage

As Always…PEACE & LOVE
