Let’s get festive!

Hey Lovelies

Sorry for my lack of posts but it’s been a chaotic 2 weeks! Has anyone else blinked and it’s December already? Not that I’m complaining because it’s my absolute favourite month!

I like to get all my presents in the summer sales so I’m organised come December and can concentrate on my party outfits. I mean you have to time manage these things…………no? Only trouble is I have other people calling me up for my (free) personal shopping, gift wrapping and house decoration services when they’re panicking. Hey ho I love it and the festive season is all about helping each other out isn’t it?

So one of my favourite places to go to for Christmas inspiration is a little family owned garden centre near me. It’s called Flora and it’s the most original and beautifully decorated place I see at Christmas. Every year the owner decorates every room with a different theme. Last year we had Narnia and a beautiful little chapel like room with stained glass windows. This year we have Santa’s house and reindeer stables. It’s just so beautiful and gives me so many ideas for my house.

Here are a few pics of this years rooms:

These past few days I have been decorating my house and here are a few snaps of how far I’ve got.

I have a few more little jobs like putting the outside lights up. I keep hoping my other half will take pity on me and put them up but I believe his good graces end at getting my 20 boxes of decorations out of the loft. Oh well, nearly there. I can then get on to my favourite job of wrapping my presents whilst watching The Hogfather.

Hope you’re all having a great December.
