Givenchy Inspired Bambi Sweater at Primark!

No doubt all of you fashionistas have seen and even craved this seasons ‘IT’ sweater. It is delivered to us by Givenchy and was sold out (despite it’s £750 price tag) in many places before it even hit the shop floors.

Pictures of Lily Collins wearing the sweater as a dress teamed with black strappy heels and a matching clutch seem to be everywhere. The sweater in question includes a print that is split down the middle and is half a colourful picture of Bambi and half a monochrome picture of a lady. I unfortunately have not had the pleasure of seeing the sweater in the flesh so cannot comment on material or quality. That said this sweater is brought to us by Givenchy’s creative director Riccardo Tisci so I’m guessing it is gorgeous!

Now then, when walking through the Primark concession in Selfridges I came across a sweater that had a rather similar concept to the Givenchy ‘IT’ sweater. It’s a black sweater, with a half colour, half monochrome print of  Disney’s Bambi. Don’t get it twisted, this sweater does not have the edge, the half monochrome lady or even the centre seam that it’s obvious predecessor does . As it stands however it’s a pretty cool take on one of this seasons must haves pieces and looks nice teamed with skinny jeans, leggings, a cool mini skirt or if you’re daring enough just a pair of ankle boots.

Here’s a pic of me wearing mine.

So there you have it. Another fab bargain brought to us courtesy of Primark. If I were you I’d go grab one as it’ll only set you back £10!

PEACE & LOVE
